Everyone has an issue with something or someone. We probably have an issue with everyone we know in some way. We have major issues with some of the others. We would rather that they would do something other than what they’re doing. We would rather they had different opinions on things. We think they are wrong about things. We think they’re beliefs are wrong. Many of us think that we are harming nature. We have laws that protect us and our property from others. There is an adage that goes like this: You can’t do that in my backyard. There are things that others do that are not fair to us. There are things that others believe that are not fair to us. There is something like 8 billion humans on the planet. The human population continues to increase. There are different issues for each individual human. That is a lot of issues. Every one of us is being done wrong in some way. What do we need to do to solve this problem for you and for everyone else?
After a great deal of thought I came up with a simple idea. I agree to not do you wrong if you agree to not do me wrong. I agree to not do anyone wrong if everyone will agree to not do me wrong. This means that everyone will agree to not do you wrong if only we can get everyone to agree. We want to have everyone agree to not do anyone wrong.
Imagine how wonderful our lives and our world would be if we can make this happen. This is why I wrote The World Fairness Agreement. In 4 pages I put down in words what I think we need to do to make this happen. I propose The Law of Fairness to benefit everyone.
We welcome everyone’s ideas on this. We can rewrite it so that everyone agrees. This is a joint effort. This idea belongs to everyone that wants in on it. Fairness demands that all of us count the same on this and everything else. The World Fairness Agreement is a starting point. We will want to get this message of agreed upon fairness to every human on the planet. No one’s opinion is any more valuable than anyone else’s. We want everyone responsible to make sure that no one is done wrong. This idea has straightened out a lot of my crooked thinking over the past few years that I’ve been working with it. It has changed me hopefully for the better. I think this idea will make humans a much better people. This idea can potentially stop our wars, poverty and crime. Legislation and belief that an unfair will self-correct as people work on being fair to everyone. The way of fairness will bring about a world where we care about everyone and everyone cares about us.
