If someone is trying to control you, disagree with every claim they make within your own mind. You can actually go ahead and interrupt them to tell them “you are wrong” if you like. At first it is not about the truth. They are using falsehood and so can we. We need to let them know they are not going to win against our disagreement. We don’t need to agree on anything. We can even disagree with things they say that are true.
Do not be combative. Give them more space. You can also interrupt with “each to their own opinion.” Now make it about actual truth. Be ready to provide evidence that they are wrong and to ask them for their evidence to their claim that demonstrates they are right.
This disagreeing method is extremely effective in not letting them take control of and define the narrative of the conversation. We stay in control of the narrative by using evidence of actual truth that we stay focused on.
Controllers use fallacy and threats to win and it is not based on actual truth. Their victory is from a selfish motive of theirs. They want to stay in control of others. They want to exploit.
You may experience intrusive and troublesome thoughts. An example is a thought that appears as if it is them communicating telepathically. They claim to be the Lord. You instantly disagree and argue you’re not the lord, you’re a piece of shit. You can argue with thoughts or words – Be careful you’re about ready to get crap. You have no power. We have the power
