On: Spiritual Connection, Guidance and Protection
We have many wonderful myths, religions, philosophies and teachings from all around the world. You might benefit from learning more of them to some degree and if you feel intuitively guided to something that will be great. The result is a profound sense of wellbeing and joy. Then the struggle becomes staying that pleasant warmth for merging into the source.
I receive telepathic guidance about what lies ahead. Many times, it is this adversarial mind that tells me lies about what will happen. It sometimes tries to scare me. I realize I am connected to an enemy to me. It wants to gain control and to render me incapacitated. Now what?
The understanding I have of reality with me being safely with friends in our cosmos is still here. It is just silently observing those that are doing me wrong. I can listen to helpful spiritual chants or read helpful material to increase my connection to the loving benevolence that surrounds and protects me. When the outside world seems adversarial toward me, I connect to the divine silence. This is from a search for the famous quote of Meister Eckhart – a 1300s Christian nondual mystic. Eckart Tolle got his pen name from him.
Meister Eckhart, a German theologian, philosopher, and mystic, once said, “The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God’s eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love” 12. This quote is often interpreted as a metaphor for the idea that the divine and human are not separate entities, but rather, they are one and the same. In other words, the quote suggests that the human soul is capable of perceiving the divine, and that the divine is capable of perceiving the human soul 34.
I hope this helps!
Another wonderful book is The Tao Te Ching. Tao means sacred way, or the way. So, the title means the book of the way. Here is verse 1:
The tao that can be told
is not the eternal Tao
The name that can be named
is not the eternal Name.
The unnamable is the eternally real.
Naming is the origin
of all particular things. Free from desire, you realize the mystery.
Caught in desire, you see only the manifestations.
I seek for a silent peaceful mind confident in faith of the eternally real divine guidance that manifests from the silent peaceful mind. The same silence of my mind is the same silence of the divine mind. I got this from Zen Buddhist Texts | Affirming Faith In Mind (zentexts.org)

The Great Way is not difficult
for those who do not pick and choose.
When preferences are cast aside
the Way stands clear
But even slight distinctions made
set earth and heaven far apart.
If you would clearly see the truth,
discard opinions pro and con.
To founder in dislike and like
is nothing but the mind’s disease.
And not to see the Way’s deep truth
disturbs the mind’s essential peace
It is by going down into the abyss that we recover the treasures of life. Where you stumble, there lies your treasure.”
— Joseph Campbell
I don’t mind what happens. That is the essence of inner freedom. It is a timeless spiritual truth: release attachment to outcomes, and—deep inside yourself—you’ll feel good no matter what.
– Jiddu Krishnamurti
A great teaching from the Hindu religion is to practice equanimity. Accept everything that happens equally rather than being ruled by an impossible pursuit to avoid difficulty. We don’t know what wonderful experience might follow a difficult one. Keep your mind in a state that is helping you. We need to stay conscious of what our minds does and stop it from doing others wrong when we have difficulty. We become freed from the world as we live in the world. We are freed from our own self destruction. We can be our own best friend or our own worst enemy.
