On Dualism, Consciousness and the Unknown

Just before dualism is abandoned, we perceive the inside self and the outside self. This is still dualistic because you split the self into inside and outside parts. Then when non dualism is realized the outside self is the inside self and the inside self is the outside self. There is just one consciousness that is all that is. This description aligns with scientific evidence. There is an ongoing unanswered question with no conclusive evidence: Did consciousness evolve and emerge from a fundamental unconscious physicality, or did physicality emerge from a fundamental consciousness? I don’t see any problem from this unknowing. Also, it is unknown whether reality is actually not anything at all, but appears to be something, or whether reality is actually something? Does it make any difference if it’s actually nothing?

If consciousness creates physicality from choice, why did it create some people beautiful and others not beautiful. Also, is consciousness the same thing as mind? I simply cannot believe a mind of any kind created physicality. I am a spiritual atheist.
