Why do people want to be cruel? Probably it happened to them. Hitler’s people became extremely cruel to the Jews. The SS police became extremely cruel. We are shocked by what happened historically. This could happen with any tribe. German people are not different from other people. It is just circumstance that brings out the cruelty in humans. We must get to the root of the cause of human cruelty. I have realized it is unfairness. It is injustice that we are not able to stop. We need cultural change so that unfairness is taboo. There is nothing stopping humans from bringing about this cultural change. Human slavery is another example of cruelty that becomes acceptable and becomes the norm.
