Alcoholics admitted this by understanding their own devices unaided would not solve the problem that is themselves. It is us that is the problem unless we surrender and join the winning side.
There is the inside – ourself and there is the outside – everything else. Which is bigger?
There might be other steps and ideas in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous that are very useful. Also, there might be religions and Gods that are very useful. I find mythology very useful. We have some very helpful stories from around the world. Thanks everyone!
