A Metaphor
They are like egomaniacs, so good people put them in a prison. The good people have already surrendered to the good people. The good people will let them go if they will surrender. Yet the egomaniacs refuse to surrender because of their egomania. They refuse to consider the possibility that they are at fault and the good people are not at fault. Instead, they blame the good people.
