There is a school of thought from The Course in Miracles. It claims there are only 2 emotion – love or fear. I disagree. Love does not conquer fear. people claim that it does. They usually use evil against others because they do not dare to defeat evil and instead, they form a partnership with evil. The give evil love. Evil is their Lord. It is their master. Love does not conquer fear it only placates fear. Evil demands love of them and they give evil love. So how do we defeat evil? How do we actually conquer fear.
Fear is telling you that you are in danger of being harmed. Something that has less power than you is not feared. A more powerful entity that is harmful to you is a problem for you. You can make friends with the entity to see if it will be kind to you and not harm you as a friend. If, however, its intention is harmful then you must find more power so that it fears you. Also, you can surrender to it if it will not harm you when you surrender to it. Sometimes the decision is to go to war against it. Existence under its control is not acceptable. Death would be preferable to being in its control. You choose how to handle the fear you have.
We form alliances to gain power against that which is intolerable. Agreements can work. Everyone agrees to not do wrong to anyone. Or we can choose to utterly destroy the entity. Or we can accept an unconditional surrender of the entity and we can find some use for it. We can choose to destroy it.
I choose to destroy it. I think I have more power than it does. I am not afraid of it. I do not care anything about it. I don’t care if it is afraid or if it is begging for mercy. I have chosen to destroy it. I may choose to put it in permanent suffering because it did something very wrong to me.
Maybe it gets more power eventually and then it overpowers me, and I am forced to unconditionally surrender to it. This is why I surrender to the all-powerful all. I will do whatever I am directed to do. This is basically forming an alliance with all that is. What are we going to do about those that do us wrong? This is what the way of fairness is about. The deal is we will forgive if it agrees to do us no harm ever again. and we agree to do it no harm ever again. This is further described in the World fairness Agreement.

Our world is a mess. It is a bunch of shit from wars until we implement the World Fairness Agreement. The wars will continue until then. The monster is my friend.
