I think from observation that people need a different support group when they leave a cult or a gang. Your invited to join us. They may need protection from the cult or gang. Humans are social animals. I argue that humans are the most dangerous animal on earth. 

When people leave a harmful cult or gang there is no guarantee they will join a helpful and fair to everyone support group. They often join another unfair support group. Gangs and cults are support groups. 

Ginni Thomas is an example of someone leaving a harmful cult to join another harmful cult. When will we all realize that in order to help ourselves, we need to help everyone else as well?
